Protestors gathered on campus at Hofstra University hours before the Presidential Debate, including various organizations such as PETA, Act for Sudan and LaRouche PAC.
Also protesting were Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein and her running mate, Cheri Honkala. The two were subsequently arrested for blocking traffic around 4:00 pm.
